InfoGuard AG, Baar, the Swiss specialist for cyber security, appoints Peter Letter as new Chairman of the Board of Directors.

InfoGuard AG, based in Baar, the Swiss cyber security and networkexpert, has made significant changes to its board of directors. Peter Letterhas been appointed as the new Chairman. He replaces Robert Schlup, who had chaired the board since 2016 and will now focus on his role as co-shareholder.

InfoGuard's private Swiss owners closely followed the company after the management buy-out in February 2018. Since then, the company has grown even more and has positioned itself excellently in the Swiss market. In order to create structures adapted to today's size and to be optimally positioned for further growth, the owners have decided to professionalise InfoGuard's Board of Directors and to appoint more independent members with proven external personalities.

In addition, Martin Eckert has been newly elected to the Board of Directors. He is a founding partner of MME Legal | Tax | Compliance and has broad experience in advising internationally oriented technology companies. His professional focus as a lawyer is on blockchain, IT, IP, data protection and technology law, the telecommunications sector and high-tech industries.

Thomas Meier, CEO since 2002, remains Delegate of the Board of Directors.
